Kimberly was born in Akron, Ohio. She attended Vanderbilt University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Special Education in 2011. She became a licensed teacher in Tennessee with endorsement in Special Education Modified K-12, Highly Qualified K-8. Following college, she attended Michigan State University College of Law and received her Juris Doctor in July 2014. After graduating, she worked for several years at Lakeshore Legal Aid, where she served as Staff Attorney, Michigan Health Link Ombudsman, and Supervising Attorney. She then entered private practice with a special interest in elder law, estate planning, and probate. She recently moved to Denver to be closer to family and joined Schwartz, McMinimee & Andrew, LLC. as an Associate Attorney. For fun, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and playing with her chocolate lab, Nola.
